boot camp didn't stop working after leopard came out. It was in beta under tiger for implementation into leopard. Leopard came out, and everyone that was using boot camp under tiger could still use it, you just you can't get it anymore for tiger since the beta is done.
boot camp is just on of the many new features that were released in leopard, and none of which you see in tiger (ie: time machine, spaces, quick look, boot camp, etc.)
