Video: What LASIK Really Feels Like

Video: What LASIK Really Feels Like

I had both eyes done (using the 'scalpel' method - although, it looked more like a cigar cutter from where I was lieing) in May of last year.

And then my left eye reverted back to it's pre-op state. To the point where they had to make up some glasses for me to use at work (basically, with one lens in). So, I had the left eye re-lasered March just gone, using the non-LASEK/LASIK procedure where they re-profile the surface of the cornea without cutting/removing the top layer - instead they disrupt the surface cells using alcohol, and move them out of the way. And all included in the initial fee of £790 (£395/eye).

All is wonderful now, and I would still recommend it, despite the hassles I've been through.

My 'eureka' moment was when I was at work holding a pen. I was looking for somewhere to put it down, and then put it behind an ear. I was over the moon! Hadn't been able to do that in over 20yrs!!
